◆Solar cell inspection In order to judge whether the battery module is working normally, the solar cell should be inspected before installation, and the installer must compare the technical manual of the solar cell manufacturer during the measurement. The measurement of the open circuit voltage must be performed before the solar cell module is heated by sunlight, because the output voltage of the solar cell module will decrease as the temperature rises. The measurement of short-circuit current is directly affected by the intensity of sunlight. Unless the intensity of sunlight can be measured accurately, only an approximate estimate of the output current characteristics of the solar cell module can be made. When measuring, make the plane of the solar cell module face the sunlight vertically. Most of the on-site measurement results of the solar cell module are within 5-10% of the data given in the product manual. It is best to measure the cell module under the conditions of the strongest sunlight at noon. . Installation method 1) Bracket installation method. A single solar cell array can be mounted with a simple bracket assembly. Two angled galvanized steel brackets are fixed on the outer wall and roof of the building with screws, and the other pair of brackets is connected to the end of the solar cell module frame, and the two brackets are connected to form A simple, durable and inexpensive bracket assembly for mounting solar arrays. The bracket assembly can be made rotatable to adjust the tilt angle with the seasons, thereby optimizing the performance of the photovoltaic system. 2) Column installation method. The solar cell array is installed using a vertical column fixed directly on the ground. Generally speaking, a steel pipe with a diameter of 5 to 7 cm is very suitable as the material for this support structure. With this installation method, the inclination angle can also be adjusted seasonally to optimize the performance of the photovoltaic power generation system. 3) Ground installation method. When installing the solar cell array on the ground, the base should be made on the ground in advance, then the metal frame should be fixed on the base, and finally the solar cell array should be installed on the frame. The mounting frame usually consists of two parallel channel beams. Use screws to fix the transverse support aluminum profile on the trough beam, and the transverse support aluminum profile should have high strength to prevent it from being damaged by the wind. Fix the aluminum frame of the solar cell array on the upper and lower horizontal support aluminum profiles with screws (should be fixed at the pre-measured inclination). Adjustable tilt brackets can also be purchased or fabricated to allow for seasonal adjustment of the panel tilt. Since the lime component in concrete can corrode aluminum materials, galvanized steel should be used for metal frames mounted directly on the concrete base. In addition, screws, nuts and washers should be made of stainless steel to prevent corrosion. Before the final selection of the installation location of the solar cell array, a detailed assessment of the local climate conditions and soil pressure-bearing capacity is required. Floor mounting requires a base of sufficient strength to avoid damage due to excessive pressure. The base should also be able to withstand the tangential (lateral movement) forces caused by the wind. Reference to local building standards can provide a basis for determining foundation requirements, and prior to installation, ensure that the above-mentioned support members meet these standards. 4) Roof installation method. There are four common methods for installing solar cell arrays on the roof: bracket installation, independent installation, direct installation, and integrated installation. ①Bracket installation. In the bracket installation method, the solar cell array is supported by a metal frame and presents a pre-set inclination angle. The solar cell array is installed with brackets, which are fixed to the roof by screws. This installation method will increase the roof load bearing and wind stress and other problems. However, since the airflow path completely surrounds the solar cell array, the solar cell array can maintain a relatively low operating temperature, thereby improving efficiency. Some bracket installation methods can adjust the inclination according to the season to improve the efficiency of the photovoltaic power generation system. ②Independent installation. The independent installation method is to directly install the solar cell array on the frame on the roof. The frame is parallel to the inclination of the roof and is 10-20cm high from the roof. The support rails are fixed on the independent frame, and the solar cell array is fixed on these rails. The advantage of the independent installation method is that it provides a free flow path for the solar cell array. The disadvantage of the independent installation method is that it is difficult to maintain the solar cell array and replace the roof material. ③ Direct installation. Direct installation refers to the installation of solar cell modules directly on the covering of a common roof, so there is no need for supporting frames and rails. The solar cell array must maintain the integrity of the roof covering seal, so the roof is often sealed with a suitable sealant. The air flow of the direct installation system cannot flow around the solar cell array, which causes the solar cell array operating temperature in this installation method to be about 20°C higher than other installation methods. This makes inspection and maintenance difficult because the electrical connections of the solar cell array cannot be fully observed. ④Integrated installation. The all-in-one installation method is to install the solar cell array directly on the rafters of the roof, and replace the conventional roof covering with the solar cell array. The solar cell array is sealed with glazed butyl synthetic rubber or backing material with metal slats. This installation method is suitable for occasions where the orientation and inclination of the roof are exposed to sunlight. This installation method is easy to ventilate, so it can ensure that the solar cell array operates at a high operating temperature with high efficiency. Since the solar cell array connection wiring is exposed in the attic, it is easy to check and repair the wiring.
