Under the current environment, vigorously developing the photovoltaic industry and actively developing solar energy have received unprecedented attention in all countries, and have gradually become an important part of the sustainable development strategies of all countries in the world. Photovoltaic industry, also known as solar cell industry, is an emerging industry that uses solar semiconductor electronic devices to absorb the radiant energy of sunlight and convert it into electrical energy. 1. The monitoring object of the solar monitoring system The solar monitoring system is mainly composed of photovoltaic array, junction box, low-voltage DC cabinet, inverter cabinet, AC low-voltage cabinet, step-up transformer, etc. Also, the generated high voltage alternating current is fed into the national grid. According to the needs of power parameter detection in each link, it is necessary to collect data of electrical equipment such as junction boxes, DC cabinets, AC cabinets, etc., package and upload the data of each link to the background, and the monitoring system realizes centralized monitoring in the background. Through real-time monitoring, the operation of the power station can be quickly grasped through various charts and data, which ensures the fully reliable and stable automatic operation of the solar photovoltaic power generation system. 2. Monitoring system architecture The entire monitoring system is divided into three levels: intelligent substation, protocol conversion and monitoring background. The background of the solar monitoring system can establish communication with multiple communication managers based on IEC60870-5-104 protocol through Ethernet, and one communication manager can communicate with multiple communication managers through IEC60870-5-104 protocol (or Modbus protocol and manufacturer-defined protocol). A smart device establishes communication. This architecture provides communication support for the total station equipment management in the background of the solar monitoring system. In the solar monitoring system, the large-scale ground power station, usually the intelligent substation layer corresponds to the box-type transformer for power generation, the protocol conversion layer corresponds to the switch station, and the monitoring background corresponds to the monitoring room. 3. Network design of solar monitoring system Each 2.5MW or 3.125MW inverter booster unit in photovoltaic field is a monitoring unit. According to the distribution position of each inverter booster unit in the photovoltaic field, all inverter booster units are divided into several areas, and the monitoring units in each area form a ring network structure. The ring network switch of the on-site monitoring unit, the ring network switch of the on-site monitoring unit and the ring network switch in the network communication cabinet between the secondary equipment of the booster substation are all connected through optical fiber media.
