Portland's reputation is certainly proud.
It is considered one of the most ecologically conscious places in the world.
Hundreds of grassroots environmental organizations have set up bases within and around the city.
They don't just make it a possibility. They really live in it and value sustainable growth.
Driving on a crowded street in my hometown, I will most likely face a traffic jam and a frustrating lack of traffic.
No matter what time of day, I choose to go to the streets.
I often try to imagine living in a city that not only welcomes walking and cycling, but is actually the norm.
No matter which way you choose, it's easy to travel and move and the environment is friendly.
It turns out that you don't have to look too far to find such a place.
Welcome to Portland, Oregon, the city is just over 500,000 years old and has been home to progressive environmental culture until "green" becomes fashionable and very marketable.
It has been the place I want to go most for a long time, so I was excited when I was lucky enough to get tickets for the second World Domination Summit.
The event itself was great!
A party of 1,000 people who are dedicated to living an extraordinary life in a traditional world.
The same is true for me in Portland itself.

I found this when I was walking down the street.

The city is very bike friendly and even people who seem to ride a bike will give priority on the road.
Unlike many metropolitan centres, the Portland drivers are very accommodating.
It is estimated that at least 7% of the population goes to and from work by bike, one of the countries with the largest number of cyclists in the United States. S.
The developed bike is over 315 miles.
Add the designated bike and scooter lanes.
They also have fares at the moment.
Free areas of the public transport system, which greatly reduces access to the city center.
It seems that everyone in Portland is walking or cycling, including cyclists and dogs, and their owners have customized bicycles. made with pet-carriers. Very cool.
Although I didn't ride a bike, I did take public transport and was surprised how easy it was to get around the city in a short time.
Considering that the greenhouse gases that cause global warming are largely fossil --fuel-
Portland's transport-based initiatives to reduce or eliminate hydrocarbons left a deep impression.

"I think every time I drive around town, the traffic lights there seem to be the opposite, which creates constant parking and traffic jams.
This move alone is believed to have reduced Portland's fuel consumption by 1.
75 million gallons, equivalent to a reduction of more than 15,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Other cities will certainly do a good job of researching and implementing their models.
When I jumped on and off the city tram that posted real-I personally experienced this smooth flow of traffic

The city also has a solar "smart" parking sheet that accepts credit cards and has one in every block.
Interestingly, Portland is also home to cars.

Their Flexcar members have access to the fleet spread throughout the metro area, and each Flexcar is estimated to have six cars on the replacement Road.
In fact, everything in Portland is green and the perfect place to have an ecological environment.
The holiday was also very friendly.
Their light rail and tram systems are still expanding, making it simple and beautiful to travel in the city.
You can also take the light rail from the airport where to go, just pay $2.
50 Portland also values beauty.
Evidence is everywhere.
From cobblestone and textured streets to visually lovely bus shelters.
Lush plants, rich trees, create a soft shadow.
Stroll through the 12 South Park Blocks in downtown Portland to see how each block is unique and show its own interesting artwork, which is fun.

The mile loop trail system is also a favorite place for jogging, cycling and walking as the Trail stretches for miles along the Willamette River.
As I sit quietly in a beautiful lush waterfront park, I am grateful for the opportunity to meet a charming park gardener in the city center, he gave me a lot of interesting information about the city and its gardening history.
One thing that must be seen for me is the historic International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park.
There is no doubt that this is an absolute highlight.
Founded in 1917, the garden is the oldest official and ongoing public rose testing garden in the United States.
This garden has more than 500 varieties, most of which were opened when I visited it. Its beauty is absolutely exquisite.
Amazing variety of colors and aromas.
Just across the street, I found peace and quiet in the Japanese Garden, where my very quiet and calm walk provided another wonderful way to communicate with nature.

It was a gentle reminder for me to wish to continue traveling to the place where I was called.

Did I mention Portland (
Actually the whole Oregon)is a sales tax-free zone!
From my experience in Portland, there was a lot to accompany me and I felt that there was more to explore there.
So, until next year, when I attend 2013 World Domination Summit again, I will keep those memories and continue to spread what an incredible place Portland is.

When you go somewhere you want to go and find that you are more impressed and moved by it than you think, it's really great.
