Portland's reputation is certainly proud.
It is considered one of the most ecologically conscious places in the world.
Hundreds of grassroots environmental organizations have set up bases within and around the city.
They don't just make it a possibility. They really live in it and value sustainable growth.
Driving on a crowded street in my hometown, I will most likely face a traffic jam and a frustrating lack of traffic.
No matter what time of day, I choose to go to the streets.
I often try to imagine living in a city that not only welcomes walking and cycling, but is actually the norm.
No matter which way you choose, it's easy to travel and move and the environment is friendly.
It turns out that you don't have to look too far to find such a place.
Welcome to Portland, Oregon, the city is just over 500,000 years old and has been home to progressive environmental culture until "green" becomes fashionable and very marketable.
It has been the place I want to go most for a long time, so I was excited when I was lucky enough to get tickets for the second World Domination Summit.
The event itself was great!
A party of 1,000 people who are dedicated to living an extraordinary life in a traditional world.
The same is true for me in Portland itself.

As I sit quietly in a beautiful lush waterfront park, I am grateful for the opportunity to meet a charming park gardener in the city center, he gave me a lot of interesting information about the city and its gardening history.
One thing that must be seen for me is the historic International Rose Test Garden in Washington Park.
There is no doubt that this is an absolute highlight.
Founded in 1917, the garden is the oldest official and ongoing public rose testing garden in the United States.
This garden has more than 500 varieties, most of which were opened when I visited it. Its beauty is absolutely exquisite.
Amazing variety of colors and aromas.
Just across the street, I found peace and quiet in the Japanese Garden, where my very quiet and calm walk provided another wonderful way to communicate with nature.

From my experience in Portland, there was a lot to accompany me and I felt that there was more to explore there.
So, until next year, when I attend 2013 World Domination Summit again, I will keep those memories and continue to spread what an incredible place Portland is.
